“We recently needed business travel accommodation in Luton and decided to make a booking at Cotels Serviced Apartments due to their location and proximity to Luton Airport and rail travel into London.
After a long flight, all we wanted was a comfortable place to rest and freshen up once we arrived. I’ve stayed at many hotels while travelling for business and have to say that the Cotels two bedroom apartment was a pleasant surprise – it was spacious, clean and conveniently located close to the airport as well as the businesses we were scheduled to meet with. So, after about a five to ten minute journey from the airport, we were able to go to our apartment and freshen up before heading off to see a customer.
Because I was travelling with a co-worker we booked the two-bedroom apartment. If we had chosen to stay in a regular hotel we would have had to make two separate bookings, thus costing our company more money. Our room had living room space which was convenient for relaxing, checking e-mails and talking about important work-related matters before our meetings.
Staying in the serviced apartment felt much more like staying in a home rather than a hotel. We had free access to a secure parking bay and free Wi-Fi. Our room was clean thanks to the weekly maid service. We made our booking with very little notice and were worried there might not be availability, but the staff were great and accommodated us right away.
If you have any spare time during your trip, you can walk or take a bus in to Luton town centre in just a few minutes. There are bus services close by and if you’re lucky enough to have an extra day, you can easily get into London via train and spend some time seeing the sights.
Even if you aren’t travelling for business, I’d certainly recommend staying at Cotels Serviced Apartments. The two-bedroom apartments are ideal for families and groups of friends travelling together. You can make your booking online or by phone – the Cotels staff are very friendly and helpful. I certainly recommend Cotels for business travel accommodation in Luton. You won’t ever want to stay in a traditional hotel again”. Adrienne Brookbanks, June 2014
