Ashridge Estate is a National Trust site and includes 2,000 acres of mature woodland with lots of marked trails to explore. Many people take their bikes to explore more parts of this breathtaking woodland area, which stretches across 2000 acres. The tea garden serves an array of the most delicious home baked cakes and sandwiches offering a great way to end an energetic day outdoors.

If you enjoy kit flying then Dunstable Downs is certainly the place to spend a day. It is well known for being a windy place and is therefore a kite flying hotspot. There are acres of space to enjoy with fabulous views over the Vale of Aylesbury and along the Chiltern Ridge. The chalk grassland, rich in wildlife, provides prime walking country.

Stock Grove Park is another woodland area worth exploring. Located on 80 acres of land it is well known by many dog owners who visit the park daily to walk their dog while enjoying the a stroll around the lake and into the woods.
