Celebrating New Year’s Eve in Northampton
Northampton is a vibrant town and is one of the biggest in Britain. And, New Year’s Eve in Northampton is the one night of the year where people are expected to go big or go home.
However, here at Cotels we also like to cater to those who prefer a night in with a bottle (or two)…
We’ve collated a list suitable for everyone of nights out, so you can celebrate your best New Year’s Eve yet. Northampton is home to many restaurants, bars and fun things to do, but here’s some of our favourite things on offer this year:
New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball
This soiree will begin with drinks on arrival, canapes and a 5-course dinner. The Ball will be held at the grand Boringdon Hall Hotel, located just outside of Crick in Northamptonshire, you’ll receive your 5-course dinner, drinks and also entertainment for £95. If you’re feeling lucky, why not try winning your spendings back on the casino tables?
Ultimate NYE Motown Party
With tickets only costing £14, a night of Motown and 70’s songs is the least expensive option. Held at the Aspers Casino in the centre of Northampton, it’s a great location to visit some local pubs or cocktail bars, such as Sazerac, before joining in on the celebrations.
Royal & Derngate Theatre
Aladdin is playing at the Royal & Derngate Theatre over the Christmas period, including New Year’s Eve. Get on the flying magic carpet and purchase your tickets before they sell out. Prepare for laughs, scares and some ‘he’s behind you’s.
90’s party and N-Trance play live
The Northamptonshire County Cricket Club is hosting a 90’s event with classic bangers, glitter, confetti and a silent VIP disco. This may be one for the 90’s babies, or for the nostalgics. The event includes a Fizz 76 Prosecco Van, a photobooth and other NYE fun!
WOW 80’s Live Showcase
Duran Duran, Madness, Lionel Richie, Wet Wet Wet, Queen and other classic 80’s acts. If that has got your attention, you need to attend this tribute act at Westone Manor Hotel. With tickets starting at £35, it’s a bargain to see all of those live acts.
If you’re around the Northamptonshire area this New Year’s Eve, head on down to any of the above. Get your groove on at a number of parties, or just take a wander to the Market Stalls and grab yourself some fresh food to make a slap-up meal for when the clock strikes 12.
If you’re looking for a chic, yet snug apartment to get away to on the big night – be sure to check out the Northampton based Cotels apartments.
