What is a Serviced Apartment?

A Cotels Serviced Apartment offers a fully equipped furnished apartment available for short-term or long-term stays. Included in the price are; utilities, council tax, Wi-Fi, weekly housekeeping; linen and towels.

Where are your apartments located?

We have 3 locations in Milton Keynes and 2 in Northampton – all are centrally located and close to amenities and travel links.

What are the main benefits of a serviced apartment?

They offer a lot more space and flexibility than a hotel room and are typically much cheaper too.

We offer stays from just 1 night and there are no contracts.

All facilities provided are fully included in the price so there are no hidden surprises when it comes to paying your bill.

Are there cooking facilities?

All of our apartments have completely fully equipped kitchens including modern appliances and come with all the essentials you will need such as; crockery, cutlery, utensils.

Our welcome packs include a fresh pint of milk, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, salt, pepper, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, dishcloth, washing powder, shower gel, soap, body lotion, shampoo, toilet roll, slippers for each guest and even a Cotels duck to keep you company at bath time…

Can anyone book one of your apartments?

Our apartments are very flexible and versatile lending themselves perfectly for many uses:

What are your prices and do you offer discounts?

Our prices vary dependant on the size of apartment, location and the length of your stay.

Our lowest price promise means every time you book directly with us you will always get the very lowest price available. We offer discounts for long-term stays, the longer you stay the less you pay!

Is VAT included in the prices given?

All of our prices are subject to VAT at the current reduced rate of 5%. If you have a continuous stay for 28 days or more, you will be entitled to a reduced rate of VAT which equates to 1%.

VAT is a government tax we are obliged to add to the price of the booking. Companies who are VAT registered can usually re-claim this.

Is smoking permitted inside the apartments?

We do not allow smoking in the apartments; however the majority of our apartment types do have balconies that you may use. 7Zero1 in Milton Keynes has a pleasant private garden with a seating area.

Can we make an amendment to our booking or cancel if needed?

We pride ourselves on our flexibility and are happy to extend or shorten your stay, even at short notice. We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for 1-6 night bookings or 7 days for week or more bookings.

Due to the uncertainty around COVID-19 we are currently offering FREE cancellation before check-in.

For cancelled bookings that do not meet the requirements, we will charge for any nights that do not fall within the cancellation period.

What is your check-in time & procedure?

Our standard check-in time is from 3pm. An early check-in may be available on request.

We have a secure key safe at our Reception at 7Zero1 in Milton Keynes for contactless, 24 hour check-in. 7Zero1 apartments have keyless entry.

At Northampton there is a security desk who will handover keys for you.

What time is check-out?

Our standard check-out time is no later than 10am. Late check-outs can be booked subject to availability.

If I’m going to be a longer term guest, can I receive mail at the apartment?

Yes – the majority of our apartments have their own private mail box. You will require a key for access which you can request from the reservations team. We can accept deliveries in Milton Keynes at our 7Zero1 Reception.

We accept most major credit and debit cards which will be pre-authorised for £1.00 to validate your card.

Payments are usually debited from your card approx. 7 days prior to arrival. If you are due to arrive within 7 days, payment will be taken at the time of booking.

Corporate clients may request a 30-day credit account, simply discuss this with our reservations team at the time of booking.
